Rain Bird 5000 - Setting the Left Stop w/ Slip Clutch

Using the (relatively) new feature from Rain Bird called the slip clutch, you can easily adjust the left hand stop on a RainBird 5000 Series sprinkler.

As the video above shows, simply find the left hand stop and continue to turn passed it until you have the arrow pointing in the desired direction. From there, fine tune the right hand stop with the +/- adjustment screw.

If you don't want your RainBird 5000 series sprinkler to spray quite as far, just turn the radius adjustment screw clockwise. The screw will turn down and break up the spray of the sprinkler to keep it from spraying as far.
